Advantage Barcelona, But Xavi Warns: PSG Still Favoured

By Barnabas Augustine
In a surprising turn of events, Barcelona manager Xavi has downplayed his team's chances of reaching the Champions League semi-finals, despite holding a significant advantage after the first leg.
Barcelona secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over French giants Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes, thanks to a brace from Raphinha and a late header from Andreas Christensen.
This win puts them in a strong position to progress to the next stage, as the second leg will be played at their home stadium in Catalonia.
However, Xavi seems to disagree with the general consensus. In a post-match interview on Tuesday night, he downplayed Barcelona's chances of advancing, stating that PSG remains the favourite and winning at home will be a big challenge.
This stance from Xavi has surprised many Barcelona fans, who are optimistic about their team's chances after the first leg victory.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the return leg, and whether Barcelona can overcome the odds and secure their place in the Champions League semi-finals.
