CRC-N Bakin Kogi Sends Forth Rev. Audu

By Barnabas Augustine

The Christian Reformed Church-Nigeria (CRC-N) in Bakin Kogi, Jimeta-Yola, held a send-forth ceremony for Rev. Enoch Moses Audu, who served as pastor for five years.
Rev. Audu was transferred to Jalingo in Taraba State to continue his ministry with the CRC-N denomination
Rev. Solomon Esseh, the preacher, reading from the Old Testament (2 Kings 4:8-17 and 30-35) and the New Testament (Matthew 10:40-45), encouraged the congregation to invest in God's work.
Rev. Esseh emphasized that those who do not sow will not reap, highlighting that God's blessings come to those who sow into the lives of others.
He explained that every servant of God is entrusted with God's blessings. He said that whatever a person sows in their mind is seen by God
He urged the congregation to emulate the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings chapter four, who invested in Prophet Elisha and was rewarded with conceiving a son in her old age after the Prophet blessed her
Rev. Enoch Moses Audu expressed his gratitude to the CRC-N Bakin Kogi congregation for their support during his time at the church. He prayed that God would continue to strengthen the church's faith.
Dignitaries from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Yola North Branch, TEKAN officials in Yola North, and well-wishers from across Yola North, its environs, and Jalingo graced the event. They spoke of Rev. Enoch Moses Audu's good work not only in the church but also in his residence in Jambutu and Clerk Quarters, both in the Jimeta-Yola area
The event's highlight was a special prayer for Rev. Enoch Moses Audu and his family, followed by the presentation of gifts.
