Hama Bachama Praises Boys' Brigade For Training Youths

His Royal Majesty, the Hama Bachama, Honum Dr Daniel Ismaila Shaga, OON, has described the Boys' Brigade as a disciplined organisation that trains young people to be reliable citizens.
The royal father made the remarks while hosting members of the Boys' Brigade Nigeria, Adamawa State, at his palace in Numan.Represented by the Secretary of the Bachama Traditional Council, Mr Ambrose Tanyishi, who said:
The Boys' Brigade is a disciplined organisation and a training ground for moral lessons.
The Hama Bachama said it was God's doing that the Boys' Brigade in Adamawa was established in Numan in 1944.
He urged the Boys' Brigade members to avoid addiction to drugs, which he said would ruin their lives. He also encouraged them to be obedient to their leaders and embrace education to improve their lives.
The President of the Adamawa State Council of the Boys' Brigade Nigeria, Mr Geoffrey Simon Kula, said the Boys' Brigade members were at the palace of the Hama Bachama, Honum Daniel Ismaila Shaga, to pay homage to the royal father for hosting their 80th anniversary celebration in his domain.
He thanked the Hama Bachama for his support to the Adamawa State Council, from the preparations for the celebration to the event itself.
He prayed for the long life of the royal father and the continued peaceful existence of the Bachama Traditional Council.
The highlight of Thursday's event was a victory march along selected roads in Numan and a visit to the pioneer company of the Boys' Brigade in Adamawa.
