America President Joe Biden has issue a statement, decided to bring to an end his reelection campaign.
The shocking news was broken on Sunday. Already there was issue of health challenge on Biden and the uncertainty his party, Democrats will defeat Donald Trump who will stand as Republican candidate in 5 November poll.
The 81-year-old President Biden said his decision to stand down is for the best interest of the country and his party.
“I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden said in a statement.
President Biden said he would address America within the week.
Shortly after the announcement, President Joe Biden endorsed his Vice President and running mate, Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination. There was an emergency meeting of senior Democratic National Committee members happening Sunday.
