Governor Fintiri Grabs Prestigious Infrastructure Award, Twice!

By Barnabas Augustine
In a right corking display, Adamawa State's Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has bagged the esteemed Infrastructure Development Award for a second time, cementing his place amongst Nigeria's top-performing governors.

The award, presented by Vice President Kassim Shettima on behalf of the gaffer, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recognises Governor Fintiri's cracking work on infrastructure development, particularly in the kip areas of roads, bridges, healthcare, education, and water supply.

President Tinubu himself had a jolly good word to say about the recipients, declaring, "Democracy's here to stay in Nigeria, and with the calibre of folks we're honouring today, there's light at the end of the tunnel." He went on to give the Governors a pat on the back for their dedication to infrastructure, underlining its bally importance for the nation's growth and prosperity.

Governor Fintiri wasn't the only one to collect a gong, mind you. He stood alongside other distinguished Governors, all recommitting themselves to keeping this infrastructure revolution on the boil in their respective states. This, of course, further bolsters Governor Fintiri's reputation as a champion for infrastructure development and a right proper leader for the country.

The Governor wasn't short of support for the trip to Abuja, attended by top government officials, the Royal Fathers themselves, and a good gaggle of friends and associates.
