Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, a respected elder statesman, has heaped praise on Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, commending his transformative leadership and commitment to the state's development.
During a today's courtesy visit to Tukur's residence, Fintiri and his entourage were warmly welcomed by the former governor, who expressed his admiration for the progress made under Fintiri's stewardship.
Tukur, who served as Governor of the defunct Gongola State (the predecessor to Adamawa) over four decades ago, noted the remarkable changes that have taken place in the state since Fintiri assumed office. He praised the governor's ability to navigate economic challenges and deliver significant projects that have put Adamawa on the national map.
The elder statesman called on the people of Adamawa to rally behind Fintiri and support his efforts to continue the state's upward trajectory. He expressed confidence in Fintiri's leadership and offered his prayers for the governor's success.
In response, Fintiri acknowledged Tukur's pivotal role in the state's history and expressed gratitude for his guidance and support.
He reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Adamawa and delivering on his promises.
